Lake Jovita contains 871 homes offering everything from Villa living to large estate residences with spacious views. The HOA at Lake Jovita is responsible for maintaining and operating the infrastructure of the community which includes gate access, streets, lighting, common areas, and a community Park. Within the park is a one-third mile long track with exercise stations, pickleball courts, basketball courts, a children area, a large open area for any use requiring a field, and two dog parks. These facilities are open only for residents and their guests.

Located within the Lake Jovita community is the privately owned Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club. Although lunches are open to residents and the public, the purchase of a home in the Lake Jovita does not grant any other right, whatsoever, to the use of any other Club facility, including the golf course, clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis court or golf practice facilities. Lake Jovita residents may use these other club facilities only if they purchase a membership or pay guest fees where applicable. While dogs are never allowed on the golf course or the golf paths, the club does allow residents to walk the cart path after their closing hours.
